Can’t get enough of Boz Scaggs?

Read, listen, watch more on the band below!

For Episode 495, Comedian Kevin Nealon talks about Boz Scaggs and that other sound from a time riddled with assassinations, hippies, counter-culture psychedelia and Woodstock. All Boz Scaggs wanted to do was play the blues with a little funk and a side of Americana on his self-titled debut album recorded in Muscle Shoals, Alabama with session guitarist turned rock star Duane Allman forgetting the fact that the clock on the wall said that’s all shredding a 7 minute solo into the album’s finale Lend me a Dime. It’s an epic record worthy of the list.

If this episode conjured up a love affair with Boz or any of the music tree tributaries, don’t miss out on these books & documentaries about the band.
